Remote Tax Senior | No Billable Hours

Overview

A nationally recognized wealth management firm managing over $30 billion in assets for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families across the United States is seeking a Tax Senior to join their growing remote tax team. This is a 100% remote position within the United States, offering a base salary up to $110,000 plus a 10–15% annual discretionary bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex individual and trust tax returns primarily for high-net-worth clients
• Communicate directly with clients to provide tax compliance and advisory services
• Collaborate with financial planners and investment specialists to deliver comprehensive wealth solutions
• Engage in proactive tax planning and wealth strategy outside of busy season
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships within your regional market

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of tax experience in public accounting or private wealth management
• CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure are welcome
• Solid foundation in individual and trust taxation; experience with high-net-worth clients is a plus
• Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable working fully remote
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
• Interest in growing beyond compliance into advisory roles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients
• Ability to manage workload effectively during busy season (average 50–55 hours per week)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary up to $110,000, commensurate with experience
