Overview

This full-time position involves providing revenue cycle management and account management services to member clients of a healthcare billing services organization. The role focuses on maintaining and building client relationships, delivering high-quality customer service, and supporting financial health through effective revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable services to optimize reimbursement outcomes for member clients.
  • Support revenue cycle performance indicators to ensure financial health of clients and the organization.
  • Oversee project deliverables by tracking progress, coordinating team responsibilities, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Analyze billing trends to identify impacts on key performance indicators and communicate findings to clients.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and escalate unresolved issues to operations managers as needed.
  • Work with billing specialists to ensure accurate and timely processing of patient claims across various payer types, including Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Workers’ Compensation, motor vehicle and personal injury claims, third-party payers, self-pay/uninsured, and commercial insurance.
  • Ensure compliance with payer requirements and organizational policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in billing and/or coding revenue cycle preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, MVA, Workers’ Compensation, and private insurance billing and reimbursement processes; legal requirements knowledge preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) preferred.
  • Medical Billing Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred.
  • Experience working with EPIC Resolute system is required.
  • For acute care hospital work, rural hospital experience is required.
  • Candidates must complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment prior to team interview.

  • Frequent creativity, mentoring, presentations, and teaching.
  • Occasional decision making and independent judgment.
  • Position requires a virtual home-office environment with remote work and camera use for all virtual meetings.

Work Location and Travel

  • This is a 100% remote position with no physical corporate office.
  • Employees work from home and may support member organizations on-site for new software installations.
  • Nationwide travel up to 20% may be required for on-site support based on business needs.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $27.09 - $43.34 per hour.
  • Compensation is based on skills, certifications, education, experience, training, responsibilities, internal equity, and market data.
