S4 Finance Consultant - Contract

Overview

• Location: Remote anywhere in the United States
• Travel: up to 50%
• Rate: 90-115hr
• Hire Type: Contract - C2C, 6mth w/ possible extension

This role supports the implementation of SAP S/4 Public Cloud for a client in the renewable energy equipment manufacturing industry. The consultant will work with the project team to gather requirements and design and configure SAP Finance areas.

Responsibilities

• Work with business users to gather requirements specific to SAP Finance processes.
• Participate in requirements gathering workshops by:
  • Presenting standard SAP process flows
  • Conducting system demonstrations
  • Providing insight on how standard SAP processes support the customer’s business processes
• Configure SAP systems, test new functionality, and provide ongoing support based on collected requirements.
• Research and document current business processes and provide process improvement recommendations.
• Develop and/or modify end user training documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with the design, configuration, and testing of SAP Finance and related modules, including:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Asset Accounting
  • Financial Reporting
  • Period-end Closing
• Experience with end-to-end SAP S/4HANA SAP Finance implementations (on-premise, Public Cloud and/or Private Cloud).
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with partners and team members.
