SAP HCM PAYROLL

Overview

This role supports SAP HCM Payroll. Work is remote, but there may be travel to Jackson, MI. Duration: 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to a team of developers to enhance capabilities and increase productivity.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews and oversee quality assurance processes.
• Drive performance optimization, implementation of best practices, and adherence to coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
• Ensure process compliance in the assigned module.
• Participate in technical discussions as a technical consultant for feasibility studies, including technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, and estimations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and prepare and submit status reports to minimize exposure and support escalation closure.
• Provide ongoing support for SAP HCM modules, including:
  • Personnel Administration
  • Organizational Management
  • Benefits
  • US Payroll
  • Time Management
• Configure and customize PA, OM, Benefits, US Payroll, and Time Management modules to align with business processes.
• Design and optimize organizational structures, enterprise structures, and time policies to meet business requirements.
• Understand and support custom solutions designed and implemented for non-standard solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and HR policies.
• Support workflow automation for HR processes.
• Manage time evaluation, US Payroll, and integration with other third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Payroll, Benefits, time recording, time data processing, and shift scheduling.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 HANA HCM.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes and business rules.
• Experience with schema modifications.
• Experience with PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules).
• Experience with Payroll and time evaluation.
• Proven expertise in SAP Payroll implementation and support.
• SAP certification in HCM (1).
