Overview
A leading cloud-based electronic health records platform focused on supporting independent primary care physicians is seeking a Senior Accountant. This role is integral to the accounting team responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue, equity, and financial reporting. The position involves driving core accounting processes and advancing automation initiatives to support the company’s financial integrity and growth.
Responsibilities
- Own month-end close processes for assigned areas such as cash automation, accounts payable, accruals, and prepaids, ensuring the ledger is audit-ready and compliant.
- Lead automation initiatives for close workflows by leveraging ERP functionality (NetSuite) and developing AI agents to improve quality and reduce time-to-close.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A and other departments to provide data-driven insights supporting budget versus actual analyses.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to manage federal and state and local tax compliance, facilitating a seamless audit process.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and documentation as the organization transitions toward a more mature, automated reporting environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
- Experience with AI tools and interest in applying AI agents to accounting processes.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite preferred; expert-level proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets required.
- Demonstrated ability to build and improve processes from scratch.
- Strong ownership and accountability with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000
