Senior Accountant

Overview

This is a fully remote Senior Accountant role.

The organization is a long-term software group focused on acquiring and scaling enterprise technology companies globally. The team emphasizes operational excellence, sustainable growth, and building efficient, accountable teams across its portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records through transaction management
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close
• Perform monthly reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts
• Review customer orders and contracts, generate invoices, and ensure timely delivery
• Process payments and reconcile accounts receivable
• Perform revenue recognition and reconcile deferred revenue per US GAAP
• Manage collection activities for overdue accounts
• Support external auditors with documentation and audit coordination
• Participate in financial projects and process improvements
• Calculate sales commissions and prepare statements
• Cross-train and provide backup coverage within the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and standard accounting processes
• Experience with accounting/business tools such as Sage Intacct, Zoho, HubSpot, or similar
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Commitment to confidentiality of company information

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated compensation range: $80,000–$115,000 USD
• Actual compensation will be based on local market benchmarks and relevant experience
