Senior Accountant (Ph)

Overview

The organization is hiring a Senior Accountant to join its centralized team.

This role supports day-to-day accounting activities and the month-end close, including financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and process improvement. The position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform, monitor, and/or manage day-to-day accounting and month-end close activities
• Record financial transactions
• Prepare, review, and distribute financial reports
• Prepare reconciliations and roll forwards
• Conduct financial analysis
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, trend analysis, and fluctuation commentary
• Ensure compliance with internal controls
• Provide financial reporting and analysis to internal and external business partners
• Identify opportunities and implement process improvements
• Serve as a subject matter expert for specialized accounting areas/systems, including training and troubleshooting within areas of expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant education
• 4–6 years professional accounting experience preferred
• Continuing education (Master in Accountancy, CPA, CMA) preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of GAAP/SFAS
• Ability to analyze financial data
• Ability to research and report results
• Strong customer service skills and leadership skills
• Must be residing in the Philippines

Technical Requirements

• Internet speed minimum 30mbps; wired connection required (buy a dongle if no LAN port)
• i5 11th Gen or higher
• Windows 11 / MacOS Catalina or higher
• Minimum 8 GB RAM
• Private and quiet dedicated home office area (no roosters, dogs, children’s noises in the background)
• Back-ups in case of power or internet provider interruptions
• Good headset and webcam (preferably noise-canceling headset)
