  • Collaborate with the finance team to identify automation opportunities to streamline the close process.

Revenue Accounting & Order-to-Cash

  • Own end-to-end revenue recognition under ASC 606, reviewing complex sales contracts and partnering with Corporate Controller and Sales Operations.
  • Manage billing reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity between CRM (Salesforce), billing systems, and NetSuite.
  • Calculate monthly SaaS metrics (ARR/MRR) aligned with recognized revenue and billing forecasts.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to maintain forward-looking billings forecasts based on pipeline and contract terms.

Technical Accounting & Audit Readiness

  • Act as technical contact for external audit teams during annual audits and quarterly reviews.
  • Review and simplify revenue recognition policies and processes for audit readiness.
  • Conduct standalone selling price (SSP) analyses and evaluate prior-period accounting treatments per US GAAP.
  • Research and draft technical accounting memoranda on complex transactions or new accounting standards.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Design, document, and implement accounting workflows to strengthen internal controls and reduce reporting risks.
  • Assist in evaluating financial reporting functions and policies with a focus on SEC/IPO readiness.
  • Utilize emerging AI tools and automation to improve accounting efficiency.
  • Support M&A activities including due diligence, quality of earnings analyses, and post-close integration.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional firm) preferred.
  • Experience in SaaS or technology business models required; experience at a PE-backed company is a plus.
  • Knowledge of complex multi-product contracts, channel partner agreements, or healthcare customer arrangements is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; active CPA strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in multi-element revenue arrangements, deep US GAAP knowledge, ASC 606 mastery, and familiarity with SEC reporting/IPO readiness.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, XLOOKUP) and experience with NetSuite.
  • Experience with Salesforce and reporting tools.
  • Interest and ability to leverage AI tools for efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $105,000 - $125,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
  • Competitive insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) program with company match.
  • Unlimited vacation days.
