Overview

This role involves supporting the accounting team by focusing on account reconciliations and the month-end close process. The General Ledger Accountant will work closely with the Controller, Assistant Controller, and Senior GL Accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple business units.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the monthly close process for four business units, consolidating financial reports by the 20th of each month using GAAP principles
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Process recurring and non-recurring general ledger transactions related to revenue, expenses, and balance sheet accounts
  • Conduct all cash reconciliations
  • Participate in projects related to general ledger activities and reporting
  • Attend monthly operating expense meetings and respond to finance team inquiries regarding reconciliations
  • Accurately and promptly process incoming vendor invoices
  • Provide backup support to Senior GL Accountants as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar financial systems preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual base salary range: $78,000 to $90,000
  • Annual bonus opportunity: 10%
