Senior Associate - Assurance

Overview

This role is for an Assurance Senior Associate position with the organization. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted business advisor to middle market clients, delivering industry-focused audit and other assurance services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted member of the engagement team providing assurance and consulting services to industry-specific clients
• Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather information needed to complete testing and respond to questions
• Plan and supervise the execution of audit engagement activities
• Review and perform substantive testing on client balance sheets and income statements
• Conduct and review tests to assess internal control deficiencies and make recommendations for improvement
• Participate in discussions with the Manager and Partner regarding business recommendations resulting from testing performed and information gathered
• Learn and grow through on-the-job coaching and mentoring and by participating in firm-wide learning and development programs
• Use relationship-building and networking skills to strengthen internal and client relationships
• Support the growth and development of team members through coaching and guidance

Minimum Qualifications

• 4-year degree
• CPA eligible
• Three (3) years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA preferred or actively pursuing completion of exam
• Two (2)+ years of experience providing financial statement auditing services within a public accounting firm
• Experience supporting SEC clients or Real Estate clients
• Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational, analytical, initiative, and adaptability skills
• Microsoft Suite skills
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay rate range: $78,000 to $103,940
• Actual compensation is influenced by factors including skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location.
• A comprehensive compensation and benefits package is available to eligible employees.
