Senior Business and Financial Analyst (REMOTE)

Overview

A government services organization is seeking a Senior Business and Financial Analyst with an active Secret security clearance to support IT systems and government customer programs. This is a remote position associated with a future new business opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support program and organizational decision-making by identifying trends, variances, and financial risks or opportunities.
• Develop, prepare, and maintain accurate and timely financial reports for internal leadership and external government stakeholders, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
• Support preparation of financial briefings, presentations, and status reports for senior leadership and government clients.
• Coordinate with program managers, contracting personnel, and other stakeholders to align financial activities with program plans and contract requirements.
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies, collaborating with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and improving financial processes, tools, and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience performing financial analysis.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, requisitioning, forecasting, and use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial software.
• Active Secret security clearance or higher.
