Senior Finance Analyst, Product

Overview

The Finance and Strategy team serves as strategic financial advisors to leadership, focusing on growing processes, operations, and the team to meet the rapidly expanding needs of the business. This role involves delivering real-time, meaningful insights to support innovation and growth.

The Senior Finance Analyst will act as a dedicated financial strategist for the Product organization, responsible for building, owning, and maintaining financial models, reports, and analyses that support Product and Finance leadership. The role includes developing insights and partnerships across Product and Engineering teams to accelerate goals and optimize R&D spending.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic thought partner by analyzing financial results, trends, and key insights
• Identify and solve complex business problems through data-driven analysis and storytelling
• Manage cloud infrastructure financials by partnering with Engineering to track cloud spend, identify optimization opportunities, and drive savings initiatives
• Collaborate with and influence cross-functional, global teams to achieve objectives
• Proactively identify opportunities for change, process improvement, and system enhancements to increase Finance organization efficiency and effectiveness
• Manage and execute ad hoc projects while maintaining day-to-day operations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance business partnering, FP&A, or investment banking
• Excellent financial modeling skills, including working with large data sets
• Experience managing cloud costs, analyzing usage trends, identifying savings levers, and partnering with technical teams to implement optimization initiatives
• Proven ability to scale manual processes into automated ones
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships and influence others
• Bias for action and enthusiasm for problem-solving
• Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with blockchain technology
• Experience with Adaptive and NetSuite financial systems
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and data warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks
• Previous experience in a B2B, enterprise SaaS environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $85,000 - $140,000
