Overview

A global software organization in the observability industry is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Go To Market (GTM) FP&A team. The company provides an intelligent platform that offers comprehensive insights into complex systems, helping businesses optimize digital applications and improve operational performance in an AI-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and quarterly/monthly forecasts for the global GTM organization.
  • Track and manage operating expenses to ensure alignment with budget and headcount plans.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A Manager to analyze spend trends and identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Coordinate accruals and expense classifications with Accounting and Procurement teams.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses with clear explanations.
  • Develop and distribute recurring financial reports to Marketing and Finance leadership, including commentary and support for ad-hoc deep-dive analyses.
  • Support quarterly business reviews by providing financial exhibits and insights.
  • Advise Marketing leaders on financial management, investment prioritization, and budget optimization.
  • Develop financial models to evaluate marketing investment effectiveness and ROI.
  • Translate financial data into business terms for non-finance stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decisions.
  • Improve financial reporting tools, templates, and processes to enhance data integrity, forecast accuracy, and financial visibility.
  • Utilize Workday Adaptive Insights for planning and reporting accuracy.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in FP&A, business finance, or corporate financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel financial modeling expertise.
  • Direct experience using Adaptive Insights for corporate planning and reporting is highly valued.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance partners.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation:

  • Estimated base salary range: $123,000 to $154,000 USD per year, with final placement depending on geographic location and candidate qualifications.
  • Eligibility for the standard corporate bonus plan.
