Overview

A global medical device organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support key aspects of financial planning and analysis. This role requires strong Excel and data skills, business partnership capabilities, and a focus on delivering actionable insights. Responsibilities include reporting and analysis of operational cost drivers such as inventory, ensuring accurate accounting treatment for accruals and prepayments, supporting capital tracking and depreciation, and translating financial performance into clear, leadership-ready presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports and analyses, including inventory and supplier performance, with clear variance insights and actionable commentary.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable financial models and analytical tools, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and user accessibility.
  • Support annual budgeting and long-range strategic planning processes by partnering cross-functionally to validate assumptions and align with organizational goals.
  • Execute and review key operational accounting activities, including general ledger entries, accruals, and prepayment schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze financial results, perform variance analysis, and communicate key drivers, risks, and opportunities to business stakeholders.
  • Track and manage capital expenditure requests across operational teams, including monitoring project spend, depreciation, and timely project closure.
  • Assist with capital expenditure oversight and fixed asset management, including tracking, reporting, and compliance support.
  • Prepare and contribute to monthly executive-level presentations summarizing financial performance, key risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations supporting growth and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, cost/operations finance, or accounting support (or advanced degree with equivalent experience).
  • Advanced Excel skills with comfort working on large, raw datasets, including modeling, reconciliation, and automation-minded reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP and finance systems; strong understanding of general ledger concepts and month-end processes.
  • Background in operations finance or experience in manufacturing/distribution environments.
  • Exposure to Power BI, SQL, or Tableau is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $66,200 to $102,600, varying based on geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
