Overview

This role is an experienced individual contributor within Corporate Finance supporting the enterprise planning and forecasting process, monthly financial consolidation and reporting cycle, and recurring Board of Directors and private equity sponsor reporting packages. Responsibilities include coordinating inputs across the organization, performing detailed financial analysis, and helping maintain disciplined reporting and forecast processes.

The position also involves using artificial intelligence and automation in practical ways to improve finance processes, reporting quality, and team productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial schedules, commentary, and supporting analyses for recurring Executive and Board of Directors reporting packages.
  • Perform revenue and gross profit variance analysis; identify key drivers versus prior forecast, budget, and prior periods; develop clear explanations with business partners.
  • Develop and maintain recurring financial models, dashboards, and analyses to improve visibility into enterprise performance.
  • Coordinate key activities within the monthly enterprise forecast process, including data collection, consolidation, quality checks, and preparation of forecast outputs.
  • Support monthly financial consolidation and management reporting by coordinating submissions, validating results, and preparing accurate, timely enterprise reporting.
  • Partner with accounting, commercial finance, revenue operations, and other teams to align assumptions, reconcile actual results to management reporting, and resolve routine data, mapping, or classification issues.
  • Use AI, workflow automation, and analytics tools to improve data preparation, validation, reporting, and forecast activities while following established controls.
  • Identify manual activities and recommend or implement practical process improvements that increase speed and accuracy.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and recurring finance priorities as needed.
  • Reconcile source systems to the consolidation platform and resolve differences independently.
  • Work fluently in a corporate performance management platform (OneStream preferred) across data loads, dimensions, scenarios, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related finance discipline.
  • Experience supporting monthly financial consolidation, management reporting, and forecasting processes.
  • Experience preparing recurring financial reporting schedules or analyses for senior management; exposure to Board of Directors or private equity sponsor reporting is beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and the ability to analyze bookings, backlog, revenue, and gross profit performance and explain variances clearly.
  • Experience using AI, automation, or analytics tools to improve finance processes, analysis, reporting, forecasting, or productivity.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with enterprise financial systems, planning platforms, or business intelligence tools.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate financial results into concise management commentary.
