Overview
This position offers a compensation range of $82,747 to $108,877 annually. It is available for remote work in Alaska, Oregon, Washington, or Colorado. Candidates residing in the Greater Anchorage, Alaska area will follow a hybrid schedule, working some days in-office at the Anchorage headquarters. International remote applicants and those requiring routine work visa sponsorship are not supported.
Responsibilities
- Conduct complex financial analyses that support strategy development, execution, and problem resolution.
- Gather and consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources to develop spreadsheets, financial models, and reports.
- Analyze actual financial performance against budgeted targets, identify variances, and prepare periodic reports for executive management.
- Participate in the analysis and maintenance of financial systems, including assisting with upgrades and conversions to business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models supporting operating and capital budget development, including P&L, long-term forecasts, cash flow, and balance sheet models.
- Compile and compare data submitted by managers to budget targets, identify variances, and assist in developing value-add key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Serve as a resource for internal customers by researching and responding to capital and operating budget inquiries.
- Perform complex financial analyses related to special projects such as pre-acquisition analyses, acquisitions, business cases, and refinancing.
- Assist in developing short- and long-term IT plans and forecasts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent education, experience, and training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
- Minimum of four years of progressively responsible professional financial analysis experience. Equivalent education and training may substitute for experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Mid-expert level proficiency with business intelligence tools and data visualization techniques.
- Preferred experience with SQL and other data mining techniques.

Location
Remote work is available in Alaska, Oregon, Washington, or Colorado. Candidates in the Greater Anchorage area will work a hybrid schedule with some days in the Anchorage office.
