Senior Financial Analyst I/FT Remote

Overview

This position reports to the Manager of Finance and is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting complex financial information to support operational and strategic decision-making. The role provides financial support to the organization, including oversight and analytical support for the monthly close process, coordination and assistance in the annual budget process, preparation and review of account reconciliations and annual audit schedules, and various other financial analyses.

• Prepare, analyze, and present complex financial information to support operational and strategic decisions

• Coordinate and assist with the annual budget process
• Prepare and review account reconciliations
• Prepare and review annual audit schedules
• Complete various financial analyses as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of five years of accounting or financial analysis experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial applications and processes
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with leadership teams
• Ability to frame analytical questions, perform financial analyses, and communicate results
• Computer literacy with intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently to meet project deadlines
• Ability to work with and preserve confidential information
• Any travel required: Will vary by specific position/location

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CPA preferred
• Healthcare financial reporting experience
• Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft PowerPoint
