Senior Financial Analyst I/FT Remote

Overview

This position reports to the Manager of Finance and is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting complex financial information to support operational and strategic decision-making. The role provides financial support to the organization, including oversight and analytical support for the monthly close process, coordination and assistance in the annual budget process, preparation and review of account reconciliations and annual audit schedules, and various other financial analyses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and present complex financial information to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Provide oversight and analytical support for the monthly close process
• Coordinate/assist with the annual budget process
• Prepare and review account reconciliations
• Prepare and review annual audit schedules
• Perform various financial analyses as needed
• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
• Work effectively with leadership teams
• Frame analytical questions, perform financial analyses, and communicate related results
• Work independently to meet project deadlines
• Handle and preserve confidential information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of five years accounting or financial analysis experience
• Demonstrated knowledge with financial applications and processes
• Computer literacy with intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work with and preserve confidential information
• Any travel required: Will vary by specific position/location

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CPA preferred
• Healthcare financial reporting experience
• Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft PowerPoint
