Overview
- Salary range: $90,000 - $105,000 base salary plus annual bonus potential
- 100% remote position within the United States (excluding Alaska, California, and Hawaii due to state-specific regulatory requirements)
- Full-time, exempt role
- Reports to Director of Operations Finance
- Rare travel required
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams to provide reporting and data analysis to regional and restaurant-level managers to optimize performance
- Analyze business trends, identify performance outliers, and recommend improvements
- Evaluate restaurant operating performance including P&L results, labor and COGS productivity, and other key metrics
- Lead shop outlier tracking program to enhance business performance
- Prepare, interpret, analyze, and communicate restaurant-level data to Field Operators
- Generate routine internal financial reports
- Prepare and analyze shop-level budgets and forecasts
- Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting, including materials for Board meetings and internal business reviews
- Conduct historical and trend analysis on key business components, including competitive benchmarking
- Support analysis of operational strategic initiatives
- Participate in and present at Finance Team meetings
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses and contribute to project teams as needed
- Maintain consistent communication with senior leadership including COO, SVP of Operations, and CFO
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields
- Experience in restaurant industry or retail with multi-location business preferred
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and various financial analyses
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ad hoc financial analysis
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI, Planful, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar financial systems preferred
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, generative AI platforms) to enhance financial analysis, automate reporting workflows, and support strategic decision-making
- High energy, intellectual curiosity, and strong desire to learn
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage and analyze large data sets effectively

- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as R or Python is a plus
