Overview
A leading online casino and sports betting operator is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role supports budgeting, forecasting, cross-functional planning, commercial opportunity modeling, reporting, competitive intelligence, and ad hoc financial analysis. Responsibilities
- Provide FP&A support including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and ongoing reporting and analysis.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to analyze revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance financial modeling, improve forecasting accuracy, and support business decision-making.
- Lead weekly and monthly reporting of revenue and operational KPIs, delivering insights and identifying trends for management.
- Benchmark and analyze company performance against competitors, providing recommendations to leadership.
- Create financial models to evaluate commercial opportunities domestically and internationally.
- Collaborate with business units to identify key drivers and trends, supporting execution of company objectives.
- Improve FP&A processes through automation, enhanced financial models, and reporting tools.
- Manage ad hoc financial requests independently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FP&A, public accounting, or corporate finance.
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills.
- Proven ability to strategically apply AI in financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the gaming industry or as an avid sports fan.
- Familiarity with NetSuite Planning and Budgeting software.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 USD (varies by experience, skills, and location).
