Overview

The organization is seeking a Mgr. Financial Planning & Analysis to lead enterprise-level financial planning and analysis. This role focuses on performance improvement and the development of scalable reporting, analytical tools, and key performance metrics. The manager will collaborate across business functions, provide financial insights to executive management, and drive financial decision-making and planning processes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with corporate functions to provide decision support, financial analysis, and guidance.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor a team of analysts.
  • Develop and improve financial reporting and commentary for senior leadership.
  • Support budgeting processes, including long-term modeling and annual operating plans.
  • Ensure timely and accurate internal reporting and presentations.
  • Create new analytics and reporting to communicate financial performance and actionable insights.
  • Establish and report on key business metrics aligned with long-term objectives.
  • Build financial models and perform analyses to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with FP&A teams to enhance planning and reporting tools.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and operational analyses, assessing the financial impacts of projects.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by senior finance leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience; managerial experience is a plus.
  • Strong business judgment, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision.
  • Skilled at translating data into clear narratives.
  • Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Proficient with financial modeling and FP&A systems; experience with Microsoft D365 and IBM TM1 is advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills; PowerBI experience is a plus.
