Overview
This role is part of a Strategic Finance team responsible for financial forecasting, reporting, and budgeting to support executives and investors. The Senior Financial Analyst will lead expense forecasting and strategic projects across multiple functions, collaborating closely with finance and business partners including senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Develop and manage the budget and forecasting processes, including headcount and non-labor expenses such as Bad Debt, VAT, Insurance, and special projects.
- Collaborate with business leads, Finance, and Legal teams to align and execute strategic plans.
- Prepare variance analyses, financial bridges, and presentations for leadership, board members, and external investors.
- Perform month-end closing activities, including accrual preparation and coordination with accounting.
- Reconcile data from multiple sources and support automation of reports and analyses.
- Analyze data to generate insights and recommendations.
- Support ad-hoc finance projects to enable informed financial decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in corporate finance, consulting, or financial services; SaaS/Cloud industry experience is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, business intelligence tools (Tableau or PowerBI), planning, ERP, and reporting systems; experience with Workday Adaptive is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and consultative skills.
- Inquisitive mindset with a growth-oriented approach to complex problems.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $81,800.00 - $143,800.00, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
