Overview

An established financial technology organization is seeking a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their team. This is a full-time remote position supporting enterprise-level financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

The organization operates a leading mortgage securitization platform supporting major government-sponsored enterprises and manages a significant portion of the mortgage-backed securities market.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with business partner FP&A teams to prepare and validate consolidated planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Support the development of planning and forecasting materials.
  • Assist the FP&A Manager in creating reporting packages, gathering inputs, validating data accuracy, and providing analytical commentary and performance insights.
  • Develop financial models and run scenario analyses under guidance to support decision-making and executive discussions.
  • Maintain FP&A systems, execute data uploads and reconciliations, and support system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and accounting teams to consolidate data and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support risk management activities within FP&A, including process risk assessment, procedure updates, risk control self-assessments (RCSA), key indicator reporting, and data governance.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • CPA or MBA in Finance preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis supporting business or technology areas.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now or in the future. No H-1B sponsorship is available for this role.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of FP&A processes, financial systems, corporate reporting, and consolidation.
  • Project management skills to plan, coordinate, and execute complex financial initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities using quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify root causes and optimize outcomes.
  • Effective executive-level communication skills to present insights, recommendations, and financial implications.
  • Proficiency in maintaining and optimizing financial planning and reporting systems.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $105,000 to $123,500 annually.
  • Compensation offers consider qualifications, skills, experience, internal equity, market data, and applicable agreements.
