Overview

This role involves serving as a Finance business partner supporting Engineering, Product, Detection & Response, the Security Operations Center (SOC), and broader General & Administrative (G&A) functions. The position focuses on shaping investment, scaling, and operational decisions by partnering directly with leaders responsible for building and supporting critical products.

Responsibilities

  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning for Engineering, Product, Detection & Response, SOC, and G&A functions
  • Develop and maintain cost models linking infrastructure investments, cloud consumption, and operating expenses to business outcomes
  • Partner with Engineering and Product leaders on hiring plans, capacity modeling, contractor strategies, and investment prioritization
  • Lead vendor and SaaS spend reviews to identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining operational effectiveness
  • Deliver variance analysis and forward-looking insights to help leaders understand performance and future implications
  • Build analytical frameworks supporting strategic decisions around growth, efficiency, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate closely with Accounting, Procurement, and business leaders to improve forecasting accuracy and financial visibility
  • Utilize AI tools and automation to enhance analytical throughput and reduce manual work

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience, including at least 2 years supporting a Go-To-Market (GTM) organization
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics such as Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Lifetime Value to Customer Acquisition Cost (LTV/CAC), retention, sales productivity, pipeline conversion, and sales efficiency
  • Experience partnering directly with VP and executive-level stakeholders
  • Exceptional financial modeling and business analysis skills
  • Proficiency with Adaptive Insights (or similar), Excel/Google Sheets, Salesforce, and Business Intelligence platforms such as Domo, Tableau, or Qlik
  • Experience working with SQL or customer-level data is a plus
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and significant business impact
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $114,300 to $165,700 USD
  • Target base salary range for candidates: $140,000 to $145,000 USD
  • Bonus eligibility and equity participation
