Role Summary:
This position supports day-to-day platform operations and a major, multi-phase expansion of BlackLine capabilities across the organization. The role focuses on administering BlackLine’s Intercompany Hub processes—Intercompany Create, Balance & Resolve, and Net & Settle—along with core BlackLine system administration and project-related deployment responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Intercompany Hub
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Intercompany Create, Balance & Resolve, and Net & Settle processes within BlackLine.
- Support intercompany templates, workflows, matching rules, dispute management, and transaction automation.
- Partner with global process owners to ensure compliant, accurate, and timely settlement across entities.
- Troubleshoot intercompany transaction issues, data mismatches, and workflow bottlenecks, ensuring root-cause resolution.
- Help design future-state intercompany processes leveraging automation, AI recommendations, and improved controls.
Core System Administration
- Administer the BlackLine platform, managing configuration, users, roles, permissions, and workflows.
- Provide guidance and coaching for BlackLine modules for sustainment and project tasks performed by Offshore team members.
- Manage data integrations, schedules, and data quality controls across ERP and other source systems.
- Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
- Deliver end-user support, guidance, and best practices across global teams.
Project-Related Responsibilities
- Help lead deployment of Intercompany Accounting, Studio 360, and Agentic AI.
- Partner with program leadership, Finance SMEs, system integrators, and technical teams to ensure successful design and rollout of new capabilities.
- Support functional, integration, and UAT testing for new features and modules.
- Support change management, training deployment, and communications.
- Participate in process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives across the financial close lifecycle.
- Monitor hyper care support after go-live, ensuring issues are triaged and stabilized quickly.
- Travel: Minimal for Hartford area candidate; up to 25% during project phases for non-local candidates.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior RTX relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
- Minimum 5 years of strong understanding of financial close processes, especially intercompany accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with system implementations or major enhancement projects.
- Minimum 5 years of strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on BlackLine administration experience, or equivalent experience with financial systems.
- Experience with BlackLine project deployments, especially Intercompany Accounting, Matching, Journals, or AI-based workflows.
- Familiarity with Studio 360 configuration concepts.
- Understanding of SAP data structures and integration points.
- Prior experience with RTX intercompany processes is highly advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD.

Incentives:
- Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Location & Work Arrangement
- Remote role; employees in remote roles will work regularly offsite.
- If the employee lives within a reasonable commute of an employer site with other colleagues they interact with, the manager will discuss whether onsite presence applies to this role.
- For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
