Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development activities across the financial systems landscape, including solution architecture, technical design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, release management, and production support.
  • Define the enterprise architecture and technical roadmap for global ERP and EPM platforms, supporting cloud transformation across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, SAP S/4HANA, NetSuite, or equivalent platforms.
  • Architect, build, and deploy scalable integrations that ingest, transform, validate, reconcile, and distribute complex, high-volume financial and operational data sets across ERP, EPM, data warehouse, HCM, loan ledger, sales, and reporting platforms.
  • Partner with VPs and Senior Directors to align on priorities, resolve competing demands, and establish a clear, shared roadmap for Financial Systems.
  • Collaborate across the product development lifecycle with Product Management, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure technical sustainability, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs are well understood and managed.
  • Define and advocate for effective technical solutions and operational processes.
  • Own team operations and system availability by ensuring monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, policies, testing, and alerting are in place to support business continuity and on-call efforts.
  • Foster a culture of quality and ownership by establishing strong code review and design standards and advocating for them beyond the team through clear written communication and technical discussions.
  • Develop talent by providing meaningful feedback and guidance, creating growth opportunities, and leading by example.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise ERP, financial reporting, and planning platforms at scale, such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday, Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar solutions.
  • Experience developing integrations between ERP and EPM platforms—including NetSuite, Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP, Oracle EPM Cloud, OneStream, and Anaplan—to support consolidation, close, intercompany accounting, allocations, planning, forecasting, management reporting, and regulatory disclosures.
  • Proficiency with technologies such as REST and SOAP APIs; NetSuite SuiteTalk and SuiteScript; Oracle Integration Cloud; SAP Integration Suite/CPI; MuleSoft; Boomi; Informatica; Fivetran; dbt; Snowflake; SQL; Python; JSON/XML; SFTP; and event-based integration patterns.
  • Strong understanding of Accounting and Finance processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), financial close, consolidation, management reporting, and financial planning.
  • Ability to lead technical design of data models, transformation logic, business rules, calculation engines, reconciliation controls, exception handling, audit trails, and data-quality monitoring across financial applications.
  • Experience establishing reusable integration frameworks and engineering standards covering API management, authentication and authorization, OAuth 2.0, encryption, scheduling, monitoring, logging, error handling, retries, and disaster recovery.
  • Understanding of governance, security, auditability, data integrity, and internal control requirements associated with financial systems in a regulated and publicly traded environment.
  • Experience implementing automated deployment and release-management processes using Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or comparable CI/CD tools, including version control, environment management, testing, and rollback procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing teams and establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Effective cross-functional leader who can influence senior stakeholders and build partnerships across Accounting, Finance, Product, Engineering, Procurement, Internal Audit, and other business functions.
