Overview

This role supports the executive team and GTM organization by owning forecasting, planning, and business performance measurement. You will be responsible for the operating model, annual planning, quota setting, and the dashboards used to drive decisions. You will translate data into clear recommendations on where to invest, how to grow, and how efficiently the business operates.

Responsibilities

Forecasting, Planning & Modeling

  • Own the operating model and rolling forecast for revenue, headcount, opex, cash, and key SaaS metrics.
  • Lead the annual planning and budgeting cycle and quarterly re-forecasts with leadership and department heads.
  • Build models supporting product launches, pricing and packaging changes, new GTM motions, and other growth initiatives.
  • Deliver monthly budget-vs-actuals and variance analysis, including clear explanations of drivers of performance.
  • Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to inform hiring plans, investment decisions, and runway planning.

GTM & Revenue Partnership

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps on targets, quota setting, territory and capacity planning, and compensation plan design.
  • Track pipeline health, conversion, and bookings to improve topline projections.
  • Own and report on core SaaS metrics.
  • Model the impact of deal structures, discounting, and multi-year agreements on revenue and cash.

Executive Reporting & Insights

  • Design and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for the executive team and department leaders.
  • Prepare financial content for board meetings and investor updates, including KPI packages, plan-vs-actual narratives, and forward-looking outlooks.
  • Translate complex analysis into concise recommendations that drive decisions.

Business Operations, Process & Systems

  • Partner with Accounting so the close, headcount, and planning data stay in sync and forecasts reflect reality.
  • Own headcount planning and tracking alongside People Ops.
  • Improve FP&A tooling and data infrastructure (planning software, BI tools, CRM and ERP integrations) and identify opportunities to automate manual reporting.
  • Document planning processes and build scalable, repeatable workflows as the organization grows.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Business Finance, including 3+ years at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Investment banking, valuation, or Big 4 advisory experience is a plus.
  • Track record of owning a company-level operating model and leading annual planning end to end.
  • Direct experience partnering with Sales and GTM leaders on quota setting, capacity planning, and pipeline-based forecasting.
  • Experience preparing board-level materials and presenting to executives.
  • Growth-stage (Series B–D) experience preferred, including building process rather than inheriting it.

Skills

  • Expert-level financial modeling in Excel or Google Sheets, with strong understanding of the three statements and SaaS unit economics.
  • Strong data skills: comfortable with BI and visualization tools and pulling data from CRM (Salesforce) and ERP systems. SQL is a strong plus but not required.
  • Experience with FP&A or planning platforms is a plus.
  • Interest in using AI tools to speed up analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to explain the story behind the numbers to finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Highly detail-oriented with sound business judgment; able to balance rigor with speed.
  • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and owning outcomes in a fully remote environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual base salary range: $160,000 to $215,000 (final offer based on level and location).
  • Offers include base salary plus additional compensation in the form of commission or performance bonuses, equity, and/or additional benefits.
  • Equity and bonus compensation packages.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401k matching (US) or pension fund contributions (Global).
  • Unlimited time off policy.
  • Learning & Development benefits.
  • Physical & Mental Health benefits.
  • Equipment and home office setup stipend.

Location

  • Globally distributed, fully remote team.
