Overview
A financial technology organization specializing in auto loan products is seeking a Senior Manager of Pricing and Analytics. This role involves leading the development and oversight of methodologies and modeling applied to auto loan pricing and front-end account origination analysis. The position requires creating innovative loan pricing strategies based on a deep understanding of acquisition economics, cost drivers, risk mitigation, and advanced financial modeling. The role demands strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and expert financial analysis to develop actionable pricing strategies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including executive management, is essential to identify risks and opportunities.
This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Auto Credit Strategy and is suited for candidates comfortable in high-growth, fast-paced environments managing multiple complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead loan pricing and structural strategies in auto lending using analytical techniques and financial rigor to maximize loan acquisition while managing credit risk.
- Serve as a thought leader within the auto team, providing insights and influencing stakeholders.
- Challenge existing business practices and recommend improvements.
- Manage primary interactions with FP&A, Treasury, and Risk teams to develop accurate and creative pricing and loan structuring models.
- Set clear direction for the company’s long-term growth plan.
- Utilize AI techniques for data collection, mining, analysis, and presentation.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership on auto program performance and strategies.
- Mentor and develop team members across the auto team and broader organization.
- Perform additional projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in quantitative roles within Consumer Finance or FinTech; experience in indirect auto lending is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of AI techniques and their applications in financial lending.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, and other business intelligence tools; mastery of Excel and/or Google Sheets for financial modeling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and influence internal clients, business partners, automotive dealers, and investors.
- Solid knowledge of business management, operations, and budgeting.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with attention to detail in a demanding environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $135,000 to $185,000, plus corporate bonus eligibility.
