  • Partner with the Head of Strategic Bank Capital to execute the bank coverage strategy and advance priority capital initiatives.
  • Develop an understanding of each bank’s mandate, appetite, and return thresholds, and translate those into actionable opportunities across the organization’s transaction flow.
  • Maintain the bank coverage model and target list, mapping bank demand to capital solutions.

Relationship Management & Pipeline

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned bank relationships; increase ownership of specific relationships over time.
  • Prepare for bank meetings (research, briefing materials, follow-ups) to move engagements from first conversation to committed capital.

  • Draft bank-facing materials, including tailored decks, one-pagers, and investor updates.
  • Track bank appetite, pricing, and capacity trends, and share market feedback to inform product development and capital strategy.
  • Partner with Industry Coverage and Corporate Investor Coverage on account assignments; escalate shared-account questions as needed.

Franchise Building

  • Represent the organization at bank capital conferences and industry events alongside senior team members; help organize organization-hosted events.
  • Identify prospective bank relationships and new capital channels to expand the bank network.

  • Experience supporting capital raising or managing relationships with bank counterparties or institutional investors.
  • Exposure to one or more of the following areas: tax equity, transferable tax credits, preferred equity, construction or term debt, warehouse or forward-flow facilities, or structured products.
  • Working fluency in risk, structure, and return drivers, with the ability to engage credibly with bank partners without owning transaction execution.
  • Highly organized, with a disciplined approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM hygiene.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication; comfort engaging directly with bank counterparties.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, high-growth environment while collaborating closely with deal, product, and leadership teams.
  • Existing relationships with bank investor desks, treasury, or principal investing groups a plus.
  • Interest in leveraging technology, AI, and data to modernize bank capital formation.
