Overview

This role is a hands-on Senior Revenue Forecasting & Operations Business Partner position with high visibility to the CFO and executive leadership. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will own the revenue forecast and the operational data that feeds it, and serve as the finance partner to Sales and Delivery leadership.

You will turn signed SOWs, staffing plans, and billing schedules into a forecast leadership can rely on, and explain variance when actuals land. The position also involves integrating acquired entities into forecasting, reporting, and systems as the organization grows.

Responsibilities

Revenue Forecasting & Finance Business Partner

  • Own the monthly and quarterly revenue forecast across all entities (US, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico) and subsidiaries, and maintain a rolling 12-month forecast to support annual budget and reforecast cycles.
  • Build the forecast bottom-up from signed SOWs, change orders, staffing plans, and billing schedules; reconcile top-down to the Salesforce pipeline and bookings.
  • Forecast by revenue type:
    • Time and materials
    • Fixed fee
    • Managed services
    • AWS-funded engagements
  • Model backlog burn, utilization, and bench impact on revenue; flag engagements at risk of under-delivery or overrun.
  • Deliver a monthly forecast vs. actuals package with variance explained by engagement, practice, and entity.

Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to Sales, Delivery, and Resource Management leaders; join recurring forecast, pipeline, and staffing reviews.
  • Partner on deal and SOW structuring (pricing, fee model, AWS funding) before signature.
  • Challenge assumptions (pipeline conversion, utilization, staffing, deal structure) using data to influence decisions.
  • Translate financial trade-offs (margin, cash, risk) into clear recommendations for senior, non-finance stakeholders.

Systems, Data & Reporting

  • Own revenue data across Salesforce, the PSA or time tracking system, and the ERP; define fields and controls to keep systems in sync.
  • Build and maintain forecast models and dashboards with full traceability from reported numbers back to source records.
  • Automate recurring reporting where practical (Google Sheets, Apps Script, SQL, BI tooling, or AI tools).
  • Document revenue operations processes and controls to support audit and month-end close.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 days: Understand the forecast end to end and map every active engagement to its fee structure, billing schedule, funding terms, and staffing plan.
  • First 90 days: Own the monthly forecast and deliver the first forecast vs. actuals package with variance explained by engagement; establish regular cadences with Sales and Delivery leadership and become their go-to finance partner for forecast and deal questions.
  • First 6 months: Forecast accuracy within 5% of actuals at the company level and within 10% by offering; run regular forecast reviews with Sales and Delivery leaders.
  • First year: Forecast model and dashboards become the single source of truth for revenue; recurring reporting is automated; Sales and Delivery leaders rely on Finance’s view in planning decisions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in FP&A, revenue operations, or revenue accounting, with at least 2 years in professional services or consulting.
  • Proven track record as a finance business partner to senior commercial and operational leaders.
  • Hands-on experience forecasting project-based revenue: time and materials, fixed fee, and milestone engagements.
  • Experience in Salesforce and at least one PSA or time tracking system.
  • Advanced Google Sheets or Excel modeling; comfortable building models others will audit.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; executive presence with senior stakeholders; able to explain a variance in a few sentences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at an AWS or cloud consulting partner, including AWS funding programs.
  • Exposure to M&A, including integration of acquired entities into forecasting, reporting, and systems.
  • Working knowledge of ASC 606 for services revenue, including percentage-of-completion and deferred and unbilled revenue.
  • SQL, Apps Script, or Python for reporting automation.
  • Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency reporting.
