Overview
The organization is seeking a versatile Senior Revenue Operations Analyst who enjoys connecting detailed analysis to the broader business picture. In this role, you will own sales compensation and support analytical and operational work that helps go-to-market teams perform effectively.
You will manage the monthly commission process, maintain accurate plans, and help teams understand and trust payouts. In parallel, you will analyze performance trends, strengthen reporting, and improve processes that support the revenue organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly sales commission process, including data preparation and payout validation through handoff to Payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity for internal stakeholders.
- Translate approved compensation plans into precise payout calculations and comp letters, managing updates for new hires, role transitions, and plan changes.
- Resolve data and payout discrepancies by identifying root causes, explaining findings clearly, and maintaining records of adjustments.
- Lead investigative funnel analyses from exploration through practical recommendations, identifying growth drivers and informing team focus.
- Provide sales leadership with clear visibility into pipeline health, conversion velocity, and revenue attainment through high-impact reports and executive dashboards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on territory design, capacity planning, and target-setting, using data to evaluate options and trade-offs.
- Streamline recurring workflows with systems and operational partners, leveraging AI to reduce manual effort while maintaining accuracy.
- Document processes and business rules to support scalability, repeatability, and cross-functional confidence.
Requirements
- 4+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Compensation Operations, Finance, or a similar analytical role in B2B SaaS or a recurring-revenue business.
- Ability to explain payout calculations to a representative, performance trends to leadership, and business requirements to systems partners.
- Comfortable asking questions and respectfully challenging assumptions when data indicates otherwise.
- Experience owning a recurring process or project from start to finish and improving outcomes.
- Ability to take an open-ended question, structure analysis, check assumptions, and deliver a recommendation with clear trade-offs.
- Proven experience building and auditing spreadsheet models using formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and quality checks.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (or a similar CRM) and QuotaPath (or similar commissions software).
- Ability to learn unfamiliar processes quickly and balance detailed operational work with broader business problems.
- Strong prioritization skills, keeping partners informed, and raising risks or decisions early.
- Curiosity about AI and automation, with the ability to identify practical improvements and validate results thoughtfully.
