Overview
A Senior Strategic Finance Analyst role is available for a finance business partner focused on executing sound financial management practices. This position collaborates with executives and senior management to develop and implement plans that optimize resource use and drive balanced financial, operational, and strategic business outcomes. The role requires translating the goals of Life, Absence, and Disability (LAD) and overall company strategy into actionable financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and facilitate financial management programs linking financial, operational, and business strategy to drive measurable results.
- Partner with business units to implement processes and tools that promote transparency, collaboration, and disciplined decision-making; monitor effectiveness through key performance measures.
- Advise and influence the business on a wide range of issues and lead positive internal change.
- Conceptualize solutions and develop alternatives to complex problems with a broad perspective for decision making.
- Provide in-depth consultation sought after by the business.
- Analyze and influence outcomes of operational efficiency initiatives such as benchmarking, Lean, and structured problem solving.
- Develop complex financial models and analyses using advanced analytical techniques and financial systems.
- Communicate complex issues effectively, extracting and articulating key business issues in a meaningful way.
- Mentor junior analysts and educate leadership and management on strategic finance topics including cost-benefit analysis, return on investment, resource analysis, and cost competitiveness.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
Certification:
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in a client-focused finance partner or finance consultant role.
- Proven ability to gather and analyze data, perform financial and strategic analysis, and develop business cases that lead to actionable recommendations.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $88,000.00 - $129,000.00, based on education, experience, skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.
- Eligibility for an annual incentive bonus plan subject to program rules and individual and organizational performance.
