Overview
A leading purchase intelligence and incentives platform is seeking a Senior Strategic Financial Analyst to join their Strategic Finance & FP&A team. This role reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A and plays a key part in driving financial results within a high-growth organization.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop strategic, long-range financial plans and translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Own all FP&A business cycles for various business verticals, including monthly close, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and monthly executive reporting.
- Drive monthly actual versus budget reporting and variance analysis, identifying key drivers and generating executive-level commentary.
- Manage the annual Capital Expense budget for software development and physical long-term assets.
- Lead process improvements and participate in reporting enhancements with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close to ensure accuracy and completeness of expenses, accruals, and variance explanations.
- Handle daily financial inquiries, ad hoc reports, and collaborate with other teams on projects and financial modeling.
- Produce business cases to support value-based decision making across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline from a top institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in strategic finance, investment banking, equity research, or a related field.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build positive relationships with senior business leaders.
- In-depth experience building and maintaining three-statement financial and valuation models.
- Experience with Ad Tech, integration, and/or SaaS forecasting in a nimble, high-growth environment.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong integrity, accuracy, and precision in work.
- Analytical, inquisitive, and tenacious problem solver.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Technical Environment
- Primarily use macOS and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Support for both macOS and Windows platforms.
- Familiarity with or willingness to work within this environment is required.
Location
This is a remote position with a preference for candidates located near Atlanta, the San Francisco Bay Area, or New York City.
