Overview
A remote opportunity is available for a Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director with a base salary range of $165,000 to $215,000 plus bonus. The role is suited for experienced tax professionals such as Senior Managers, Directors, or seasoned Tax Managers who excel in client advisory and leadership within public accounting.
Responsibilities
- Review complex tax returns including individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and corporate filings
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals
- Act as a trusted advisor to business owners on tax strategy and planning opportunities
- Mentor and develop Tax Seniors, Supervisors, and Managers
- Conduct complex technical research and resolve tax issues
- Support client relationship management and maintain high levels of client service
- Collaborate with firm leadership on departmental initiatives and growth objectives
Requirements
- 8 to 12+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong technical expertise in flow-through entities and individual taxation
- Experience reviewing tax returns and managing client engagements
- Proven leadership or mentoring experience within a public accounting environment
- CPA designation preferred
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
