Sr. FP&A Systems Analyst

Overview

A growing technology organization is seeking a Senior FP&A Systems Analyst to join their Corporate FP&A team. This role involves hands-on support for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the financial planning system, Abacum, and integration of financial and operational data to streamline reporting across the business. The position focuses on building efficient, automated processes to improve accuracy, visibility, and scalability of financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain the Abacum financial planning tool to meet planning, reporting, and forecasting needs
• Integrate financial and operational data from systems such as NetSuite, Snowflake, HRIS, CRM, and billing platforms to ensure automated, accurate data flows into Abacum
• Develop and enhance reporting dashboards and planning templates within Abacum to provide consistent, real-time insights for Finance and cross-functional teams
• Lead intake, coordination, and execution of multiple projects or requests from cross-functional stakeholders
• Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting teams to align data definitions, assumptions, and reporting structures across systems
• Support rollout of Abacum "spaces" and dashboards for business partners, ensuring data accuracy and ease of use
• Assist with data validation and reconciliations to maintain integrity between source systems, financial models, and reporting outputs
• Document workflows, integrations, and system processes to ensure scalability and repeatability
• Identify and automate manual Finance workflows by leveraging system capabilities and integrations to improve efficiency
• Partner with Finance leadership to evaluate new features, enhancements, or integrations to improve system performance and user experience
• Provide training and support to FP&A and business users on system functionality, dashboards, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance Systems, or related roles within a SaaS or technology company
• Hands-on experience with FP&A tools; experience with Abacum preferred, but Pigment, Adaptive, or Anaplan also relevant
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Intacct or NetSuite and data warehouses like Snowflake
• Basic understanding of system integrations, data flows, and financial planning processes including forecasting, budgeting, headcount planning, and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
• Experience with BI or reporting tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is a plus
• Ability to translate business needs into clear system requirements and collaborate effectively with technical teams
• Strong organizational and communication skills; comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Curiosity, ownership mindset, and enthusiasm for improving financial systems and processes

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $105,000 - $138,000 annually
