Staff Accountant

Overview

A healthcare organization specializing in independent cardiology practices is seeking a Staff Accountant. The organization provides technology-driven tools and AI-enabled solutions to support clinical independence and improve operations, revenue cycle, imaging, and practice development for cardiology providers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP and reporting requirements
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, consolidated financial statements, and other financial reports
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances
• Coordinate accounting tasks with other departments
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management
• Assist with external audit and tax documentation requests

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
• Strong Excel skills, including formula use
• Accurate numerical data analysis abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and take direction
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential information
• Customer service orientation and teamwork capability

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time position with a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000
