Staff Accountant

Overview

A well-established and growing manufacturing organization in Central Minnesota is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain broad exposure across financial reporting, manufacturing accounting, process improvement, and cross-functional business support within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities including reconciliations and journal entries
• Perform variance analysis and assist with financial reporting
• Provide audit support and participate in budgeting activities
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives
• Help improve accounting processes by leveraging automation and AI tools

Requirements

• 1 to 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in public accounting audit or corporate accounting
• Exposure to month-end close and general ledger accounting
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus

Compensation

• Salary: $73,000
