Staff Accountant-Vytal Health Partners

Overview

A growing healthcare organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their expanding accounting team. This role involves managing accurate financial records, preparing timely financial reports, and supporting compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting reports.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.
• Assist with tax preparation and related filings as needed.
• Perform additional accounting duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience; healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 annually.
