Overview
A growing technology organization is seeking experienced professionals to join their Strategic Finance team. This team addresses critical business challenges by managing the company’s budget, leading annual and quarterly planning, allocating resources efficiently, performing financial analyses, and collaborating with various departments. The role requires strong analytical and strategic skills, excellent communication, structured problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity. The position offers high visibility and involvement in key business areas.
Multiple roles are available within the Strategic Finance team, focusing on different business areas:

Go-To-Market: Focus on the Sales business. Responsibilities include owning and improving the annual planning and forecasting process and influencing resource and investment decisions within Sales.

Corporate: Focus on revenue and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) accuracy. Responsibilities include owning and scaling the top-line financial ARR close and revenue model, and leveraging automation to provide data-driven insights for margin-impacting management actions.

Growth: Focus on acquisitions. Responsibilities include reporting and forecasting for acquired businesses (revenue, headcount, operating expenses), partnering with acquired business leadership to identify growth levers, inform pricing and packaging, and develop unit economics frameworks.
This is a full-time role based in one of the US hubs (San Francisco or New York) or remotely within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Drive alignment on KPIs and key metrics to monitor business performance and growth initiatives.
- Build annual operating plans, quarterly, and monthly financial forecasts.
- Develop cross-functional partnerships to generate business insights and support executive decision-making.
- Own, run, and improve financial processes supporting the business.
- Collaborate with Strategic Finance, Data Science, and Revenue Operations teams to enhance ARR data quality and forecasting.
- Prepare and deliver presentations for the Executive Team, including CFO, CMO, and CRO.
- Experiment with AI-driven solutions to automate workflows, improve accuracy, and increase the impact of Strategic Finance operations.
- Help scale financial operating rhythms as the organization grows.
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to functional leaders and executives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, Big 4 audit, business operations, or related fields.
- Experience in financial planning and data-driven analysis.
- Proven ability to build processes from scratch, distill complex issues into structured frameworks, and develop actionable plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to organize workload and priorities, and meet deadlines independently.
- Experience building relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels and functions.
- Genuine curiosity and passion for the work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company, especially with go-to-market (GTM) experience.
- Proficiency with SQL, AI tools, and working with large data sets.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $115,000 to $245,000 USD.
- Salary is determined based on qualifications, experience, potential impact, role scope, market demands, and work location.
- Remote roles have localized pay adjustments between 80% and 100% of the stated range.
