Strategic Finance Consultant

Overview

This interim Strategic Finance Consultant role supports a client during a maternity leave coverage period.

• Duration: 3 Months (possible extension)
• Location: Remote
• Schedule: 16–20 Hours/Week, Flexible Days
• Pay: ~$60/HR+

Responsibilities

• Support M&A valuation and deal-related activities
• Perform due diligence related to potential deals
• Monitor strategic investments
• Monitor competitors’ filings, including the upcoming mid-November reporting period
• Create and populate financial models in Excel
• Use Workday to extract data for deal modeling
• Analyze financial statements
• Work closely with senior leaders
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership
• Think independently and manage responsibilities with limited direction
• Collaborate effectively with the team and contribute as a strong team member

Requirements (Must Have)

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of FP&A experience
• Experience analyzing financial statements
• Deal due diligence experience
• Experience creating and populating financial models in Excel
• Experience working closely with senior leaders
• Strong communication experience with senior leadership
• Experience with an automated ERP such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday experience
• Healthcare industry experience
