Overview

This role supports revenue planning and go-to-market capacity through financial and operational modeling, data-driven forecasting, and strategic decision support. The work is AI-first, using LLMs to structure planning problems, build analytical frameworks, and draft decision-ready recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain financial and operational models that connect revenue targets to hiring plans, team capacity, productivity, ramp time, and business performance.
  • Analyze headcount, productivity, ramp time, and quota attainment to support leadership investment decisions.
  • Translate business goals into actionable plans, identify gaps, and recommend opportunities to improve performance.
  • Use LLMs as a starting point to structure complex planning problems, develop analytical frameworks, draft recommendations, and validate outputs using independent judgment.
  • Develop and maintain scalable planning models that connect revenue targets to headcount, team capacity, productivity, and expected performance across the organization.
  • Translate business goals into hiring plans, quota recommendations, resource allocation, and investment scenarios, including analysis of trade-offs.
  • Validate planning assumptions with Finance, Recruiting, Data & Analytics, and other teams by monitoring performance and ensuring models reflect actual business conditions.
  • Improve forecasting, reporting, and planning workflows by identifying opportunities to automate, simplify, and enhance planning processes.
  • Build and maintain go-to-market capacity models connecting headcount plans to revenue targets, expected attainment, and coverage requirements across Sales and supporting teams.
  • Develop staffing and capacity frameworks to determine the appropriate ratio of supporting roles to sales representatives and business segments.
  • Own productivity, ramp, attrition, and performance assumptions to forecast future headcount requirements and evaluate investment scenarios.
  • Partner on quota-setting methodology, including how revenue targets translate into achievable quotas and ramp expectations.
  • Analyze pipeline coverage requirements, leading performance indicators, and activity benchmarks needed to support revenue goals.
  • Create quarterly planning deliverables, including quota recommendations, headcount plans, capacity models, and investment proposals.
  • Track plan versus actual performance across headcount, capacity, productivity, and quota attainment; identify gaps early and model potential business impact.
  • Ensure planning models are accurate and grounded in reliable data by collaborating with Finance, Recruiting, and Data & Analytics.
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools that provide leadership visibility into performance, resource allocation, and future planning needs.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Strategic Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or a similar analytical role within a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining headcount, capacity, productivity, or resource allocation models tied to revenue targets.
  • Experience with quota-setting, sales ramp modeling, and go-to-market planning.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, including building complex models from scratch and clearly explaining assumptions.
  • Strong understanding of revenue planning, sales productivity, pipeline coverage, and business performance metrics.
  • Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills, including experience building sophisticated models and analyzing large datasets.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Recruiting, Sales, and Data & Analytics teams.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and building structured solutions from incomplete information.
  • Strong written and in-person communication skills for translating complex analysis into clear recommendations.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving mindset and independent motivation to seek help when needed.
