Overview
A client is seeking a Tax Accountant to join on a contractor basis. This remote role involves applying tax accounting and compliance expertise to support the training of next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world input. The position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI model development.
Responsibilities
- Analyze real-world tax returns, financial records, tax regulations, and filings to extract actionable insights and structured context.
- Identify and trace tax positions, compliance, and filing decisions within fragmented, real-world information.
- Synthesize tax accounting and compliance knowledge into realistic, challenging tasks that reflect authentic scenarios for evaluating AI agents.
- Create clear, detailed prompts and evaluation rubrics based on provided materials and scenarios.
- Distinguish relevant from irrelevant information to ensure high-quality contributions to AI model development.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in tax accounting and compliance, including hands-on experience preparing taxes and ensuring tax compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise prompts.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Prior experience in AI model development, training, or evaluation is not required, but solid domain knowledge in tax accounting and compliance is essential.
- Proficiency with AI platforms, tools, or systems is a plus.
