The firm recently entered a strategic partnership with a leading accounting platform to support growth and innovation.

Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements by planning, executing, and completing tax projects within budget.
- Prepare and review complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and identifying tax savings opportunities.
- Provide consulting services and recommendations on innovative business tax planning and compliance.
- Manage multiple engagements while maintaining high-quality deliverables and strong client relationships.
- Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns; assess staff performance for engagement reviews.
- Resolve minor tax issues directly with the IRS and other tax authorities; assist with more complex issues.
- Participate in and potentially lead client meetings, especially with smaller clients.
- Collaborate with partners, senior managers, and staff on client management, professional development, and business development activities.
- Attend professional development and continuing education sessions regularly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Master's in Taxation or LLM in Taxation is a plus.
- Strong technical skills in tax preparation, review, compliance, agency correspondence, and tax research.
- Experience with tax provisions is advantageous.
- Ability to problem-solve creatively and logically.
- Proven ability to self-direct, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
- Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to foster client and staff relationships.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to attract and develop profitable, sustainable client relationships.
