Tax Manager - Exempt Organizations

Overview

A leading accounting and consulting firm is seeking a Tax Manager to support their Not-For-Profit industry practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide tax compliance and consulting services related to tax-exempt organizations. Candidates with varying levels of experience may also be considered for a Tax Senior position depending on fit. The position offers growth potential without relocation and can be based near one of the firm's offices or performed remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to clients focused on protecting their tax-exempt status
• Prepare and/or review tax returns for exempt organizations and their taxable affiliates (Forms 990/1120)
• Utilize project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Lead and develop Tax Staff and Seniors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Deliver superior client service
• Consult with market and firm leaders
• Network within the community and client industries

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master’s degree preferred
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial role
• Experience working with tax-exempt organizations

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $100,060 to $162,100, determined by role, experience, education, skills, and location
