Overview
A growing full-spectrum tax firm based in Sacramento, CA, specializing in complex business tax, is seeking a Tax Senior with experience in Big 4 and complex flow-through entities. This is a fully remote position offering competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple complex tax engagements, delivering quality tax solutions.
- Review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, S-Corporations, and their owners.
- Utilize CCH tax software to research and consult on tax matters.
- Respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries as needed.
- Provide proactive tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork, a positive attitude, and uphold high ethical standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting, preferably with Big 4 experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or actively pursuing licensure.
- Proficiency with CCH or similar tax software.
- Extensive experience with complex passthrough entities and high net worth owners.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 per year.
