Overview
This organization is seeking a Remote Tax Senior Associate to join the Exempt Organizations Tax Services team.
This role is considered remote and does not require work to be performed within proximity of an office location. However, remote employees may be required to be present at an office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Form 990 and Form 990-PF tax returns.
- Prepare and review Form 5500 tax returns as needed.
- Apply prior tax and/or audit experience involving Not-for-Profit entities.
- Support the National Tax Team by assisting internal and external clients in meeting business goals.
- Collaborate on thought leadership, webinars, and seminars.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Tax is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive tax experience.
- Strong tax research skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) and client service skills.
- Proven competence with MS Office and tax compliance and research software, including:
- ProSystem
- BNA portfolio and projection
- CCH Axcess
- RIA

Compensation & Benefits
In California, the salary range for National Tax Senior Associate is $90,000 - $125,000. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws.
