Overview
This organization is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join the Trust & Estate Tax team within its Minnesota practice.
This is a remote role. While most professionals are located within a commutable distance to an office, remote employees may be required to be present at an office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.
The role sits within the National Tax Team and focuses on Trust & Estate work, with the potential to support 1040/1041 work.
Responsibilities
- Review gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns for the T&E Group.
- Handle 1040/1041 returns as needed.
- Review fiduciary accounting for trusts and estates.
- Provide tax planning and consulting to high net worth clients for estate and individual income taxes.
- Manage all aspects of client relationships.
- Manage a team of professionals within the group to complete engagements from start to finish.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Tax is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive tax experience with trusts and estates, as well as high net worth clients.
- Strong tax research skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).

Compensation & Benefits
In Minnesota, the salary range for Tax Senior Associates is $70,000 - $105,000. Salary determination varies based on factors such as geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
