Overview
Salary Range: $125,000 - $160,000 DOE
An experienced, licensed CPA or Tax Attorney with deep tax knowledge is sought for a client-facing role focused on working directly with entrepreneurs and business owners. The position emphasizes helping clients minimize tax liability and build long-term financial success through proactive tax advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one consultations with entrepreneurs and business owners to evaluate tax positions, identify savings opportunities, and develop tailored tax strategies.
- Analyze client business structures, income streams, and financial goals to design forward-looking tax strategies that generate measurable results.
- Clearly explain complex tax concepts and strategies to clients, ensuring understanding and confidence in financial decisions.
- Participate in tax strategy webinars by answering client questions and providing expert guidance.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and fulfillment teams to align tax strategies with organizational services for a seamless client experience.
- Maintain long-term client relationships, adapting strategies as tax laws evolve and client businesses grow.

- Ensure all recommendations comply with current tax laws and regulations while maximizing client benefit.
- Take full ownership of client relationships, providing consistent, high-quality advisory support year-round.
- Work effectively across departments to ensure strategy execution aligns with broader organizational offerings and client needs.
- Stay current on tax law changes and proactively refine strategies to deliver best-in-class advisory services.
- Maintain strong systems and processes to manage client interactions, strategies, and follow-ups efficiently.
Requirements
Education & Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Active CPA license or Juris Doctor (JD) with a focus in tax law.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax planning, tax strategy, or advisory services.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply complex tax laws in a client-facing environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical tax concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
- Experience working directly with entrepreneurs and small business owners is preferred.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to deliver proactive tax solutions.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and calendar applications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with an entrepreneurial, client-first mindset.
Continuing Education
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Education to maintain licensure.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and taking phone calls.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds periodically.
- Ability to access and navigate various departments within the organization’s facilities.
- Travel up to 10% annually may be required for sales support, training, and professional development.
