• Schedule and conduct premium audits virtually or via phone with client policyholders, typically at the end of the policy period.
• Review business operations and specific financial records including payroll, sales, and cost records.
• Verify class codes assigned according to industry and client standards as required by insurance contracts.
• Submit audit reports through a web portal and proprietary premium auditing software.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Examine commercial business payroll and tax records.
• Evaluate operational practices.
• Adhere to customer requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Comfort with numbers and analytical thinking.
• Ability to use deductive reasoning to find solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Reliable home office setup including a Microsoft-based computer and dependable internet connection.
• Accounting or bookkeeping experience is helpful but not required.
