Overview
This volunteer opportunity supports a nonprofit organization seeking a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to complete an independent review of its fiscal year 2024 financial statements.
The nonprofit serves middle and high school students throughout Chicago’s South Suburbs. As the organization has grown, annual charitable contributions reached a level requiring submission of CPA-reviewed financial statements as part of charitable organization reporting and registration requirements with the Illinois Attorney General.
A completed FY2024 review is an important step toward bringing charitable registration filings current and maintaining eligibility to pursue funding opportunities, including opportunities connected to the Illinois Attorney General’s Office.
Target completion date: October 15, 2026.
